The Feminine Heart  by Jenica Ashlie

This is truly one of my favorite books and I have since become a very good friend of the author. Jenica Ashley is an amazing sage who is on a crusade to teach women to retrieve their Feminine Hearts. Women have relinquished their Feminine Heart in the striving to become successful income earners. Reawakening one’s Divine Feminine Heart allows a woman to be truly who she is and the powerful engine for love in her world and THE world. It is through the reawakening of the Feminine Heart that we can create true peace and love globally. One key goal of Jenica’s book is to inspire “A peaceful world where children witness deep love and respect between the sexes.”  This book is chalked full of incredible wisdom. It’s divided into three sections Deep Intimacy: Satisfying our Yearning for Infinite Love, Deep Purpose, Sharing the Gifts fro Our Feminine Hearts and Deep Passion, Offering the Gift of Endless Love. Each section opens with a  beautiful peace of Jenica’s poetry addressed to “My Darling Feminine Heart” and then goes on the illuminate the subject in that chapter. The chapters conclude with Musings and Blessings, offering specific recommendations on ways to allow our authentic love to resurface. This is an inspiring and powerful book for any woman who has felt the need to sacrifice her sacred feminine side. I highly recommend it.

The Prospering Power of LOVE by Catherine Ponder

Ponder is one of the nation’s leading prosperity authors. She takes her place alongside Wallace D Wattles, Napoleon Hill and Florence Scovell Shinn, with her simple philosophy and message of how love can transform your business and your bank account. This slim book is filled with simple “AHA!” ideas and reminders of using Love as our vanguard as we pursue our lives and careers. I picked up many great concepts that are easily adaptable in my life from this former Unity minister, who went on to become a major figure in the manifesting movement.

Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace and More by Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len, PhD

This is an amazing book. It brings to greater public awareness Ho’oponopono, a spiritual practice used by the ancient Hawaiian culture to manifest in concert with the Universe…four simple phrases that can have profound impact on someone’s life…either for you or someone you seek to help heal. The touchstone of this book is a Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len’s work in a mental hospital for the criminally insane and violent offenders in

Hawaii

. The good doctor NEVER saw or personally treated any of the patients, but using this spiritual practice healed them all –thus leading to the closure of the hospital. Vitale, in turn, used the practice to heal some of his own issues, attract wealth and far more into his own life. He relates multiple stories where this practice turned around someone’s life or attracted what they desired. I’ve adapted this practice into my life and can’t wait to see what happens when you try it!

You Are Enough, Always Have Been …Always Will Be  by David J. Walker

Ready for pithy little book that says a lot? Here’s a wonderful short little book with down-to-earth straight talk by a man who believes we are more important than what we do. This book offers the tools to build a foundation for a strong and long-lasting self-worth. I find it interesting men are becoming the lead spokesman on this subject including Dr. Joe Rubino, when it is purportedly women who suffer the most from self-esteem issues. But these men put the lie to that theory. Men and women both have major spiritual hang-ups in this area. Here David Walker offers short esteem building chapters, followed by “Constructive Self-Talk” recommendations. This book is perfect as a gift for a man or young man who is struggling with his self-worth, and needs a few pointers to start the rebuilding process.

Biology of Belief, Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles

Biology of Belief, Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter and Miracles  by Bruce Lipton, Ph.D.

Lipton has been a heretic to the scientific world ever since the publication of this groundbreaking work. He demonstrated that our cells receive messages and respond to an energetic force outside of the body, and that consciousness is connected to a greater force. Lipton is scientifically demonstrating the interface between spirit and the flesh. Lipton did this by following a path of straight science, allowing him to make conclusions based on the facts before him. A cell biologist, Lipton, uncovered stunning new scientific discoveries about the biochemical effects of the brain’s functioning, showing that cells of our bodies are affected by your thoughts.  He describes the precise molecular pathways though which this occurs. Lipton is revolutionizing our understanding of the link between mind and matter, and the profound effects I has on our personal lives and collective life of humankind. This is a fascinating read, but don’t worry…it’s told in layman’s terms.

The Power of Now

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

By now, you have probably heard of Eckhart Tolle, the little elfin man who did an 8-part webcast with Oprah Winfrey that drew as many as 11 million people, as he led a discussion on the chapters in his book A New Earth. As groundbreaking as that webcast was, I happen to feel that his first bestseller, The Power of Now, was a more important book. Tolle was the first of the New Age authors to devote an entire book to the concept of living in the Now, to releasing the prison of the past and the trap of the future from our consciousness. Tolle explains how living in the now, this present moment, is a life transforming act that opens the door for far greater joy and peace. He traces his experience as a homeless man, lost in misery, to a man who lives each moment in a state of equilibrium and harmony. It’s an incredibly thought provoking book and one which will open your eyes to a different way of living.
